It appears like a perfect pearl on the land and attracts people across the world to its exquisite beauty and art. Though nearly everyone is known to its grandiose art, many are not aware of the history of Taj Mahal as a sight of mystery and love.
The history knows many examples of incredible and distinctive architectural structures like the Eiffel Tower, the Egyptian Pyramids, the Great Wall of China and various others, of which the most enchanting is the Taj. It was constructed by a Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz at Agra, India on the banks of river Yamuna.
According to a thrilling unproved story, Shah Jahan asked his minions to cut-off the hands of Taj Mahal's architect and the workers after the structure was completely constructed so that they would never build anything resembling Taj. However, a large pool of people and even historians believe that there is no truth in this and that it is just a folklore.
