How this Man Broke Records with Prosthetic Limb is Beyond Inspiration

Mahendra Singh became the first one to go on the longest trek with a prosthetic limb.

September 16, 2007.

I was 19. While travelling in a bus from Mhow to Indore, I met with an accident. The bus collapsed at somewhere around 7:30 pm. There were injuries on my head, blood was all over my body, an iron rod was stuck in my belly, and half of my body was beneath the bus till 10 pm. At that moment I realised if I don't make a move now, I'd be dead. I don't know where did I get the energy from, but I somehow managed to move which was noticed by the rescuers.

On my way to the hospital, I tried to move my leg. Suddenly, half of my leg, below the knee fell. I knew that I had lost my leg. I have a rod in my pelvis, 23 stitches in my head, and my right ear has lost 30% of its hearing power.

This is the heartwrenching story of Mahendra Singh that he shared with WittyFeed.

"Who Mahendra Singh?"

Well, a man who recently got his name listed in the National Records for Longest Trekking with Prosthetic Limb.

Unbelievable, isn't it?
