10 Reasons Why Every Non-Christian Looks Forward To Christmas

IT IS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR. Christmas calls for fun, excitement, gifts, celebrations, sweets, decorations, and all of this is so appealing that we start to miss it the very next day when it is gone. The hues and glitters all around the way make this festive season extra special. Christians usually start their celebrations by visiting the church and greeting their relatives on the Christmas eve and what about Non-Christians like me? We enjoy the assorted vacay time, cookie time, celebration time, the decorations in churches too. Come, let's take a look at some of the simple yet sweet things that make Christmas a special day for every person who is not a Christian.

Hocus Pocus, I'm Brocus...

But where did all my money go? Well, I bought candies out of it. Agree or not, candies that are customised and decorated especially for Christmas are a USP, and they are super duper cute.

Goodness Gracious!

Yes, these decorations are for real, they are not for a shoot. What matters is the fact that you take the feel of it via creativity. The decorations that you get to see during Christmas leave you awestruck, and this is one of the things that I as a non-Christian person look forward to.

Christmas carols are mesmerising!

Ever been to a Church during Christmas? The carols that are sung make for a really great piece of music which can be easily used in a film to add to the charm.

Did I just say gifts?

No matter how old you get, gifts will all always you nostalgic. Yes, they will. As a kid, I always looked forward to my Christmas gift that Santa (who actually was my father) would get for me.

The only reason why I visit a Christian friend's house on Christmas or Christmas Eve because I'm not able to control that urge.

Lots and lots of days off from work.

Okay, that was all about people who are directly interested or associated with the festival. For those who are least interested in Christmas, is all about offs and vacays to a distant place which can also be fun a lot of times.

The game of 'Secret Santa'.

This game is the best part of Christmas. You give gifts, you get gifts and that's how you spread the message of spreading love, happiness, and smiles.

Chocolates literally add an oomph!

Customised chocolates are most people's favourite to savour during Christmas and add an oomph because they are decorated with a lot of cute stuff like ribbons, props, and miniature cartoons.

How can we forget the traditional Santa cap?

I totally loved these caps as a kid, and I love them even more now. I'm sure most of you would have at least one Christmas picture with this cap on.

Sales and shopping season for women.

Ladies, you thought there's nothing for you? How can that be possible? Every woman has that craving for buying new things when they see the signboard 'SALE' and then there's no end. That's all, guys! Share why Christmas is special for you in the comment section below.  You can also write to me at muskan@wittyfeed.com
