In between all the drama of usual daily soaps in the 2000s, there was a show which captured the attention of a lot of viewers. The USP of the show was its unique plotline and concept. I'm talking about Sanjivani- A Medical Boon. This show pretty much described what doctors actually do. The well thought of cast and characters like Dr Shashank, Dr Juhi and others made it even more interesting and relatable for every workaholic. After fifteen years, the entire cast of the show has changed drastically in terms of appearance. We bring to you some of the transformations from the show.
We all remember Dr Rahul who was shown as the craziest and irresponsible character in the show. But, after Rahul fell in love with Dr Juhi, things changed. The character was portrayed by Gaurav Chanana in the beginning of the show which was later played by Mihir Mishra. He was last seen opposite Preity Zinta in 'Ishkq in Paris'.
Shilpa Kadam replaced Rupali Ganguli in the show back then. While Rupali is still remembered for her role as Monisha Sarabhai, Shilpa hasn't been active on television for reasons unknown. Even after this, we do remember her as Dr. Simran Chopra. She was Rahul's best friend, but she ended up falling in love with him.
Mihir Mishra who portrayed the role of Dr Rahul after Gaurav Chanana left the show, completely got into the skin of the character. These days he is a part of the show 'Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re' on Life OK.
Late actor Sanjeet Bedi played the role of Dr Omi. He was by far the friendliest character on the show. Unfortunately, the character dies in the show after being diagnosed with AIDS.
