Actor Randeep, who lives in Versova area has been actively participating in the most of the events which are organised by the NGO Afraz. "This seva (serving) is the learning from an Indian religion Sikhism which the star has been learning since a year," says reports.
However, you may feel shocked while seeing Highway actor, Hooda working hard to clean the beach, but this is certainly not the first case when a B-town celebrity has joined hands with local people in Mumbai.
Almost a month ago, the same beach was cleaned by actress Dia Mirza and her husband, Producer Sahil Sangha as part of their campaign.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of the classic actor, Shatrughan Sinha has done the same.
The actor was last spotted in Bollywood hunk, Salman Khan starrer Sultan in which he played the role of Salman Khan's coach. And if reports are to believe, the actor will be spotted soon in the film Battle of Saragarhi which is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
The film is based on the battle between British-Indian Army and Afghan tribesman in North-West Province which is now a part of Pakistan. The subject has come to the limelight because two other major films are related around it.
Every year people from the higher part of the society or the ones who hardly visit Juhu beach (like celebrities) come on the street to share this powerful message and create awareness about the cleanliness.
And it's the same routine every year. From legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan to the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, all these A-list Bollywood celebrities have shared the message of cleanliness with the people, but it seems nothing seems to work in Mumbai.
On the name of God we can't keep abusing the nature, and Mother Earth. After all, we're the only species to take care of it in a way like no other species can.

In the caption to these pictures he wrote, "Thank you @AfrozShah1 fr showing us the way to be able to do something for our planet, our country, our future #VersovaBeach #Respect."
Erik, the Head of UN Environment was so impressed by the efforts which Hooda put into cleaning the beach that he couldn't help but mention it on Twitter.
