Water Minister of Delhi Kapil Mishra was recently removed from AAP.

And within two days of his removal, he claimed that he saw Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal take Rs 2 crore in cash.

The sacked minister said that he saw Health Minister Satyendra Jain giving the amount to the CM.

Kapil also said that he will approach CBI to dig deep inside the matter.

This prompted the opposition to demand resignation from Kejriwal.

After the statement came out, BJP leaders met the lieutenant governor Anil Baijal and demanded a CBI investigation. Both Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party have demanded resignation from Kejriwal.

The Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia said:

"His allegations are not worth a response." Sisodia said CM changed the portfolio of certain MLAs as people were dissatisfied with water supply system in Delhi. The political observers had cited poor water management as one of the reasons why AAP lost municipal elections in Delhi.

Anna's response:

Arvind Kejriwal's mentor Anna Hazare said allegations levelled against Kejriwal are disheartening and make him sad. However, AAP dismissed Anna's response.
