A Shy Man Who Could Hardly Speak His Name Walked On The Stage And Inspired Us For Life

As a younger person, I used to envy people who were full of confidence and did not shy away from doing everything with immense enthusiasm. But eventually, when I grew up around these people, I learned that there's no fun living a life till you aren't spontaneous and confident enough to do things. It only takes a moment to realize that your fears are meant to be tamed by your courage and not vice-versa. It all depends on making the right choice in the right way at the right time. Something likewise happened with this guy who had a major stage fright and went all quite as soon as he saw an entire auditorium filled with so many people. But Christopher Maloney's moment of overcoming his fear came with this beautiful performance that stunned every single person who heard his breathtaking voice. You need to have a look at this.

The X-Factor show, 2012.

Christopher Maloney a 34-year-old man, decided to try his luck and walked on the platform for a trial of The X Factor in the UK. That was when he discovered his first ever stage fright. He went all quiet and could not utter a word without stammering in that moment.

He was conscious that it was an international platform, and people from all around the world will be watching him.

As he reached stage, he was sweltering and could barely say his name without stumbling.

Somehow, he started to do what he had come for, singing.

The moment he started to do that, his soulful voice captivated the crowd's heart.

He had chosen the right song to sing.

Maloney decided to sing 'The Rose' from Bette Midler because the same song was played at his grandfather’s funeral.

His grandmother was left alone, so he moved in to take care of her after his grandfather died.

She was his biggest fan and following five years of persuasion; she finally managed to convince Maloney to audition for the X-Factor.

In March 2013 it was revealed that Christopher was gay. In October, he released his single album, "My Heart Belongs to You."
