Man Collected Caps Of Bottle For 5 Years Now Look At What He Has Done

A guy designed and built a custom designed bar top for his kitchen. So, what's new? Well, the new is that he has been preparing for this bar top for almost five years now.A guy and his friends and family for the five years saved almost all kind of 2,530 beer bottle caps, and what they've done with these caps is only creative."The initial concept was to lay out an image comprised of bottle caps, then reality set in and we opted for the much easier gradient effect," says man.

It took them 4 hours of brainstorming and several restarts to achieve this goal.

Kids helped him in creating a creative countertop for his kitchen.

It all started with filtering caps in the order of rainbow (VIBGYOR).

Then he took a quality plywood of 5/8' size to form the base of the countertop.

Using Rustoleum, he painted the top in matte black.

Epoxy resin will be used later to make sure the matte finish is close to perfection.

He opted for much easier gradient effect, and succeeded in doing this.

Epoxy resin was used to fill the airspace. But, make sure your layers are as thin as possible.

And the kitchen countertop looked like this after the 5th layer of epoxy resin.

The man said: Visually, we felt it would be more interesting dispersing various caps to add pops of color.

He just allowed the caps to give a river flow look, rather than hard colour stops.
