OSCAR Goof Up Becomes Promotional Strategy for Anushka Sharma's Phillauri

As all eyes were set on the actors Priyanka Chopra and the 'Lion' star Sunny Pawar during the Oscars 2017 award show. But one Bollywood star went unnoticed. A recent revelation by Anushka Sharma tells us that she was present at the show 'in spirit'. 

Reportedly, the presenters Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty couldn't understand Anushka's Hindi.

According to the actress, she tried to stop them but a lack of understanding made them to announce 'La La Land' as the winner over 'Moonlight' by mistake.

The actress took to Twitter to share about this.

 "Yeh log mujhe sun nahin paye, main toh kab se Hindi mein keh rahi thi ki naam galat likha hai"(These people couldn't hear me. I was telling them for long in Hindi that they got the name wrong).

But people are wondering what the actress is upto?

Actually, it is not that Anushka is still reeling over the big Oscar pitfall. In fact, it is an online promotional strategy for her upcoming film 'Phillauri'.

Her fans have joined in posting pictures of their 'sightings' of Shashi, Anushka's friendly ghost character from the film, by using '#ShashiWasThere'.
