Manika Batra: The Saphire Of Indian Table Tennis 

Emerging stars and talents are what this era is all about and here we are going to tell you the story of a star who has just begun to create her own new era. Manika Batra, as we stated the sapphire of Indian Table-Tennis can be seen as one of the most promising indoor racquet stars. Soon after the Rio Olympics, she was ranked 98th in the top 100 paddlers of the world. On achieving this, she became the first female Indian Table Tennis star to reach this spot in 30 years. Currently, she is the top-ranked female table tennis player in India and is ranked 115th in the world. Have a look at some of the achievements of the rising star, Manika.

When asked about her gameplan for the Olympics, she said, "I have been playing in a large stadium and the best part of it is that I have always felt very comfortable". Talking more about her perception of her game, "I know winning a medal at the Olympic level is very difficult but I will try to do better than anyone from our country has ever done".
